The Department of Geological Sciences and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno seeks a full-time Lab Manager to oversee the use and maintenance of the department’s major equipment and analytical facilities. These facilities include two modern scanning electron microscopes, and a Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (LA-ICP-MS). The Lab Manager is responsible for the operation, maintenance, business development, budgeting and accounting for the SEM and LA-ICP-MS facilities.
