DPS ELECTIONS 2009: CANDIDATE SLATE

The DPS Nominating Committee has identified the following candidates
for the 2009 DPS elections for Vice-Chair and Committee:

Vice-Chair (1 to be elected):
Athena Coustenis, Observatoire de Paris
Melissa McGrath, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center

Committee (2 to be elected):
Jason Barnes, University of Idaho
Nancy Chanover, New Mexico State University
Beth Clark, Ithaca College
Leslie Young, Southwest Research Institute

Thanks to these candidates for being willing to serve, and to the
Nominating Committee for their work.

Additional candidates, supported by a petition of at least 20 DPS
members, may be nominated within the next 30 days. Please send any
nominations to the DPS Secretary, John Spencer,
[email protected], by May 29th 2009.

PHOTOS OF ITHACA DPS CONCERT?

Does anyone have a good photo of last October's DPS concert? Cornell
University has produced a video of the premiere performance of
"Anillos" and is looking for an image of the orchestra during the
performance to use on the CD's back cover. Please send your entries to
Joe Burns, [email protected]. The winner will receive a copy of the
video. The video should be available for sale in a month's time.
