NOTICE ON SHERATON HOTEL ROOM RATE FOR DPS MEETING

Our contract with the Sheraton Hotel specifies that rooms for all
attendees (not just government employees) are to be offered at the
prevailing government rate.  For FY2006, this has been $106, hence
the rate previously advertised.  The FY2007 rates, effective
October 1, 2006, have just been released by the GSA.  Los Angeles
area has been increased from $106 to $110.  Thus, the Sheraton has
increased their rate accordingly.  Apparently they are
doing this retroactively even for those who have already booked at a
rate of $106, so you may receive a notice from Sheraton with this
revision in your reservation.  We apologize for not being more
specific in the details of our rate agreement with Sheraton.
