MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR: AAS ELECTIONS UNDERWAY--PLEASE VOTE!
Dear Colleagues:
As the largest division within the AAS, the DPS has a strong interest
in the composition of the AAS Executive Committee. I urge all of you
to vote in this year's AAS election. You may view the slate of
candidates and their personal statements on-line when you login to
the AAS site http://www.aas.org. The deadline is 31 January 2006,
so please don't delay.

STATUS NEWSLETTER AVAILABLE
STATUS, the newsletter of the Committee on the Status of Women in
Astronomy, is published twice per year and is available to everyone
online at http://www.aas.org/~cswa/pubs.html. A hard copy will
be sent to all AAS members who send their mailing
addresses to membership @ aas.org. The January 2006 issue features
several planetary scientists.
