MORE TOURS AND ACTIVITIES DURING THE DPS MEETING

Mount Wilson Observatory Tours 

Guided tours of the Mount Wilson Observatory
(http://www.mtwilson.edu) have been scheduled for
DPS members and guests for the following dates and times: 
  
   Tuesday, October 24  10:00 am 
   Thursday, October 26  10:00 am 

The tour is approximately 3 hours long and has a fee of $15.00 to defray
the transportation expenses.   To reserve your spot, please contact Marcia
Segura ÷ msegura@lively.jpl.nasa.gov for details or sign up at the DPS
registration.  Tickets are available on a first come ÷ first served basis. 
  

Jet Propulsion Laboratory Tours 

Guided tours of JPL  including Von Karman auditorium, Space Flight
Operations Facility, and Spacecraft Assembly Facility as well as the
souvenir shop (ERC) have been scheduled for DPS members and guest for the
following dates and times: 

   Wednesday, October 25 9:00 am 
   Friday, October 27  9:00 am 

These tours are free of charge and transportation is provided.  To reserve
your spot, please contact Marcia Segura ÷ msegura@lively.jpl.nasa.gov for
details or sign up at the DPS registration.   Tickets are available on a
first come ÷first served basis. 
  
JPL, NASA, and Mission Souvenirs at DPS 

There will be an opportunity for DPS members and guests to purchase space
souvenirs at the meeting on Monday, Oct 23 and Tuesday, Oct 24.  T-Shirts,
sweatshirts, caps, pins, coffee mugs and the like will be available.  If
you miss the ERC coming to DPS, sign up for the JPL tour and visit them at
their home.
